Han So Hee is set to deliver a powerful transformation in the upcoming crime film Project Y, recently revealed through striking new stills. Set in Seoul’s glamorous yet unforgiving Gangnam district, the film explores what lies beneath wealth, ambition, and survival.
The story follows Mi Seon (Han So Hee) and Do Kyung (Jeon Jong Seo), two close friends trapped in a harsh reality. Desperate to escape their lives, they devise a dangerous plan to steal 8 billion won (about $5.44 million) worth of gold bars and disappear.
Mi Seon longs for a normal life and clings to hope until she finally believes her chance has arrived—only to lose everything. Cornered, she takes part in an even riskier scheme: stealing illicit money from Mr. To, betting her life on one final opportunity to reclaim what she has lost.
The newly released stills capture Mi Seon’s emotional extremes, ranging from a gentle smile to an intense, determined gaze, hinting at the high risks and unpredictable situations she faces. Han So Hee described the role as a balance between doubt and confidence, while director Lee Hwan praised her natural embodiment of the character from their very first scene.
Project Y is scheduled to hit theaters on January 21, 2026, raising anticipation for a high-stakes crime drama powered by strong performances and Han So Hee’s compelling portrayal.
